About Nottingham Cakes
Sharon began her cake making career by making birthday cakes for her own children.
Making a special cake for special liitle people is very rewarding and seeing their faces light up when they catch sight of their dream cake is amazing. Soon friends and family were asking for cakes and Sharon was able to learn her craft by taking classes in sugarcraft and making ‘practice’ cakes for those near and dear to her.
The progression to professional cake maker was swift and Sharon set up her business in November 2011. Since then it has been a whirlwind of cakes with celebration cakes, wedding cakes and birthday cakes.
Based in Beeston, Sharon is a local girl who has lived in Nottingham all her life and loves the city she now creates beautiful cakes for.
